I am still watching the episode, our last until 8 February… so just a week off.
Finished it. A few notes will will follow in a bit. I actually thought it was kind of a week episode. We didn’t really learn anything new about Charlie in the flashbacks, at least nothing worth while it seemed. [...]

The Fuselage (the official site of the creative team behind Lost) has a post called “The Ten Commandments of Lost, and which ones this episode broke.” It is very funny.

I have been debating with myself of late if Battlestar Galactica or Lost is the best show on TV. While watching the Season 2.0 DVD set that Ari got me for Christmas, I have decided that BSG is the best show on TV right now. I have a bigger emotional investment in the characters and [...]

We are getting used to seeing characters on the show crossover with each other in their flashbacks. In the What Kate Did episode we see Sayid on the TV when Kate is walking into the requitment station to see her father (or the guy she used to call father anyhow). Hattip to the TCF for [...]

I am going to bed, but noticed on the TCF that people note that Sayid saw Walt, Swayer saw the horse with Kate, so this raises the question, had somebody been with Jack looking the same direction he was, would they have seen Jack’s father? Hmm….
Well, I am only on the first page there, but [...]

If a Star Trek fan is a Trekker (sometimes called a Trekkie, though some consider it insulting to be called that), a Firefly fan is called a Browncoat, Lord of the Rings fans are called Ringers… what would a Lost fan be called? A Lostie? The tail section people are called tallies and the front [...]

So, as widely speculated, Kate did indeed kill her father. Most thought it would be to the fact Kate was abused, but she says he didn’t touch her like that, though I am not sure I believe her given the way he was when she was putting him to bed. I still have to wonder [...]

Tonight’s Lost will be the last Lost until 11 January 2006. Hmm… I think Battlestar Galactica starts up again in January with the last half of season 2.

First to quote a bit of one of my posts over at the TCF about this episode:
Just for the record the other crossword clues we see (all down) / answer if seen as Locke filled them out:
33: Name
36: Macbeth place / Iona
37: Belgian port / Ghent
38: Robbed / ransacked
40: WWII movie feature hyph. [...]

Check it out! There is a full episode commentary over at the Official Lost Podcast for “Collision” (Season 2, episode 8.). Very cool. The podcasts up this point (I’ll admit, I haven’t listened to them) haven’t been full episode commentaries. I hope they do it on a regular basis like Sci-Fi does with the Battlestar [...]

Hint from the TCF:
The crossword puzzle Locke was working says something along the lines of “Enkidu’s Friend.” Enkidu is part of Sumerian Mythology, and later is part of the Epic of Gilgamesh, which is the answer to the puzzle, Gilgamesh. Per the Wikipedia article on Enkidu linked above:
Enkidu assists Gilgamesh in his fight against Humbaba, [...]

Another great episode. Before I check the TCF reaction and cross post some ideas and observations from there, I’ll do my own.
Seems the show is getting better. While I liked all the episodes so far, seems they are finally moving back to the season 1 style of shows. Understandably they needed some time to get [...]

A few observations from the TCF before I go to bed (still have a headache):
Anna (Ana-Lucia? One n or two n’s?) could have been the Air Marshall on the flight. Her ex-military experience would lend credence to that. Her missing her gun would make us think not. At the same time, her questioning of Jack [...]

Before I see what the TCF has to say, I’ll post a few things here now that I finally got to see the episode.
So it looks like there was a crash for sure. Not some staged thing, unless they crashed the plane on purpose the way they did.
Mr. Eko was on the plane, not one [...]

Okay, Anna Definitely discharged her gun as it clearly has emptied as the slide is in the back position.
However, I’ll say that Shannon was facing the wrong way to be shot in the chest from where Anna is at, unless she turned that way then back around again when Sayid came running up.
What did Walt [...]
