What is the Point of Ruby and Max?

Ruby and Max is a TV show for pre-school aged kids on Nick Jr. and Noggin.
The premise is simple enough, Ruby and Max are children bunnies, Ruby being the older sister to her baby brother Max. Equating them to human children ages, Max is perhaps 2 or 3, with Ruby being perhaps 8 to 10. [...]

Lost Season 2 Finale

Sara hasn’t watched the finale yet, so I won’t post too much beyond just saying wow at the moment.

Contender 2

There doesn’t seem to be much information out there about The Contender 2 at the moment. What I can gather so far is that it should have been filmed already. It was likely to focus on Welterweight class fighters (147 lbs weight limit, Jr. Welterweight’s limit is 140 lbs, so from there to 147). I [...]

Babylon 5 and V for Free!

V, Babylon 5 and many other shows are available for free at AOL. Quality is okay. The really bad thing is you will need to use IE to access them and have WindowsXP. XP is okay, requiring IE is just evil.

Lost Season 2 DVD Set Update

In an earlier post I had problems linking to the proper Lost - The Complete Second SeasonDVD set. Well this has been fixed in that post. Here it is again so you don’t have to look for the old post (which I am too lazy and tired at the moment to link to myself). [...]

Lost S2E21 - ?

Yet another stunning episode of Lost.
Before we get to that.
Here is the book that Swayer was reading the other week:

Bad Twin
I have to wonder if any real clues are in it, or if it is mostly red herrings. I like that one of the reviews comments:
I bought this book because I had read about the [...]

More Lost S2E20 - Two for the Road

Back to the post, after learning a bunch of old Lost posts are gone…
Minor spoiler from the episode may be here. The shots of AL and Jack’s dad in the car are reversed so that it looks like the steering wheel is on the right hand side. It isn’t clear yet why they just didn’t [...]

Lost Posts Lost

It seems the posts that are missing are indeed Lost. No idea what happened to them. I can’t find it at Technorati, the Wayback Machine, and while I thought I had a newer database backup, it seems to be gone now. Most of the other posts seem to be okay, it is just a few [...]

Lost S2E20 - Two for the Road

Wow, what an episode…
It looks like I haven’t posted about Lost since S2E15 Maternity Leave. So let us recap from then on first before we get to this weeks amazing episode.
S2E16 - The Whole Truth. A good episode, not great. The ending was really cool with learning Henry isn’t Henry… I am almost sure I [...]

With four episodes to go in this season of Lost (with the final episode being two hours long) the Season 2 box set is already on sale.
For some reason however, at this moment, while I can get to the page, I can’t get it to find it for the link . It’s ASIN number is [...]

New Lost This Wednesday

Starting Wednesday 3 May 2006 we will get four new episodes of Lost in a row.
Next season they really need to step up the answers to quash those who didn’t like this season as much do to the lack of answers. I personally like them drawing them out, but the public doesn’t. I think we [...]

Pulse is an upcoming Broadband Internet channel from the Sci-Fi Channel. It will offer older sci-fi channel offerings as well as fresh new content. One of Pulse’s offerings (and perhaps on the Sci-Fi Channel itself, I can’t tell for sure) is a new Battlestar Galactica prequel called Caprica. Taking place around a half century before [...]

I finally got around to putting the last couple counts from this season on my Battlestar Galactica Survivor Counts post. Sorry for the long delay for anyone who was waiting. Of course I still have yet to get around to commenting on many episodes, including the last two amazing episodes. Wow.

BSG & Lost

I finally watched this weeks awesome episode of Lost. Wow.
I am still behind on BSG… which sucks since it is the best show on TV, and I am behind on the survivor counts as well.
As for Lost S2E17 - Lockdown

So Long Chef

Isaac Hayes, the voice of Chef on South Park, left the show for what he says was the show’s attitude towards religion, “There is a place in this world for satire, but there is a time when satire ends and intolerance and bigotry towards religious beliefs of others begins.” Odd how he never had a [...]

It should be no surprise that Battlestar Galactica has been greenlit for a 20 episode run for Season 3. I guess I shouldn’t say “no surprise” since they somehow canceled Farscape while it was still getting great ratings. Actually, that is old news, but I don’t think I posted it yet.
Meanwhile, the Season 2 finale [...]

I have updated the Battlestar Galactica Survivor Count post to include all the episodes to 216 (S2E16, Sacrifices). I am behind on my BGS watching, so that is as far as I can get it right now. Apologies for letting it get behind, I’ll watch the next two episodes and update it again soon.

Lost Easter Eggs

I was browsing and found a cool Lost site that has Lost Easter Eggs. For example they have screen a screen cap of the Egyptian Hieroglyphs from last episode, Kate’s dad and her picture, and a screen cap of the TV showing Saddam’s gassing of a village that has the numbers on it. For the [...]
