The video quality here isn’t great, as it was taken with a camera phone, but here is a video of Ari, at the end of which he claims he is Darth Maul (lead villain in Star Wars - Episode I, The Phantom Menace. The look on his face was very funny.

Ari’s favorite music video of late is Kate Bush singing Wuthering Heights. He does it with lots of her dance moves while he watches it and it can be quite funny…
He is also a fan of Ben Harper’s A Better Way, sometimes asking “I want the Better Way song.”

We wouldn’t be freezing this morning. The temperature in Chandler, AZ right now, according to our friendly Yahoo! front page (they get their info from the Weather Channel) is 57 degrees, with a high of 91… Here the greater Akron/Canton area it is 48, with a high of 67 with strong storms coming. If you see something with a double underline, that is a context link, and not a link I manually generated. Context links are generated by Amazon to help provide revenue to pay for the expense of running this site. I’ll see how well they work out to see if we keep the context links or [...]

The new trailer for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (Book 5) is out, and it looks very exciting. Check it out at Yahoo! Movies. Order of the Phoenix may be one of my favorite books in the Harry Potter series, ahead of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (Book 6) which has [...]

You may notice to the side that my Now Reading list includes Stardust by Neil Gaiman, one of the world’s best authors. So far, I have to say it is a very good book and an absolute delight to read. There is a good reason it has a 4 1/2 stars (out of 5) review [...]

The FDA is considering to loosen what can be called chocolate so the chocolate industry can make chocolate cheaper.
The US Food and Drug Administration is considering redefining ‘chocolate’ to allow substitution of vegetable oil ($0.70/lb.) for cocoa butter ($2.30/lb.), and whey protein for dry whole milk. There are already standard terms to differentiate these [...]

While if we do move, we’ll probably move to the Chandler area so that we can work in the Phoenix area. Prescott is the area that appeals to me most, but, unfortunately moving there, or Payson, or anywhere that far seems to limit my career options. Anyhow, here is a little song about Prescott. Not [...]

Ron Paul, America’s only candidate who’s policies would actually give us prosperity, peace and freedom, has spoke out on the tragedy in Virginia. Pointing out what should be obvious to all, but for a variety of reasons isn’t, that had students and/or faculty had been allowed to have concealed guns, they could have ended the [...]

A good little video about Freedom:
A reminder, while this isn’t a Ron Paul ad, he is the only candidate that stands for freedom. All the other major party candidates stand for tramping over some freedoms somewhere for somebody.

It is time again. Time to consider relocating from this dying city, and dying faster now that Hoover is closing shop, and move to a better place. Something warmer and sunnier.

As a small aside, I thought A4 was 8.5 x 11, but apparently that is just a North American standard. Paper Size at the Wikipedia has more information than I’ll provide here, but it appears once again North America is out of step with the rest of the world on reasonable standards.
Silverbrook Research has came [...]
