One of the most noticeable aspects of Ari’s speech is that his K’s are pronounced as a T. There are a few other things as well, but that is one of the ones that can be heard clearly and identified. Once he has his 3 year checkup soon… wow… 3 years… we’ll have his doctor make an appointment for a speech therapist to see if he needs help or not. He is hard to understand sometimes, even for us as parents. If we repeat what we think he said, he’ll say “yes” or “no” and we’ll repeat until we get it right. Lucky for all, he doesn’t seem to get too frustrated when we don’t get it.
