A big cheer to Maine for rejecting the Real ID Act. Let’s hope far more states oppose this vast invasion of privacy and government waste. Woman in Water Drinking Contest Dies is the headline of a story about a woman who ODed on water. Didn’t drown, but died of water intoxication. I never would have thought it was possible. I would think that you would get sick long before the body was able to reach that point.

I forgot to update on what they decided Ari had, salmonella, and the fact that he came home Tuesday. The salmonella probably came from the Iguana, even though we never handle him like we should, we handle his water dish, which is probably contaminated and the cross contamination happened from there. Everyone is much better [...]
