Our Thanksgiving Dinner
Nov 25th, 2006 by Brian A. Thomas
Sara had some of her friends come over for Thanksgiving dinner on Friday. As some of them work retail, they were not all able to show up, but we all had a good time with those that did.
Sara made her first ever turkey. She did very well, not only was it moist and properly done, it tasted very good as well. She also made vegan pumpkin pie, which also was really good. She also made a green been caserol and cornbread stuffing as well as a loaf of bread. We also had the standard fare of corn and mashed potatoes. Of the items brought there was sweet potato pie, a medieval gourdes in potage, smoked tofu lasagna and some oriental cookies to name a few of the items.
Ari stayed up way too late and I was beyond bushed by the end.
Thursday Ari had Thanksgiving dinner at my mom’s and just today we went to Sara’s parents house as they had some of the family from Youngstown in. So enough turkey for me for another year.
