You can click the image and test your own computer’s speed on the Internet.
I took about 4 tests, and this one was in the middle of the pack. Of course with a shared connection as cable modems are, this could change at any given time.
Also SpeedTest.Net is made in Flash and is pretty cute, more accurate speed tests can be completed on MondoSpeed Worldwide Speed Test (http://www.mondospeed.com/).
You can choose from a list of more than 40 high speed servers spread all around the world.
This server keeps in history all tests results ever.
