Monitor Going on the Fritz

My computer’s monitor is going on the fritz. Not overly surprising seeing that it is a very old monitor… Let’s see, this monitor was used on this computer, the one before, and the one before that at the very least. I figure at least 8 or 9 years… which isn’t nearly as old as I thought when I started the post. Still, fairly old. The problem is many fold. The primary problem is the expense of a new monitor. CRT monitors are really hard to find in stores as Joe Public wants a LCD monitor, which just can not offer the quality of a CRT… not to mention they cost about 2 or 3 times more then the same sized CRT… So grrr to the whole monitor situation…
