RFID In Humans and the Bush Connection

RFIDs (Radio Frequency Identification) are tiny little microchips that will in the near future be put into most products you buy. They will serve several functions. Setting off the anti-theft alarms and product identification are the main selling points. If a person tries to steal an item, the alarm in theory could say what item wasn’t paid for. The register wouldn’t need to use a laser bar scanner, just pass the item near it and it registers the product and the clerk confirms to turn the alarm part off.
This sounds all good and well until you get to the problem that nobody will guarantee they will also turn off the product identification portion. So while you walk down the mall, every store or ad in the mall will know what pair of underwear you are wearing. Imagine as you walk past Sears you see the video or electric paper ad change to show that the underwear you are wearing is on sale. Not only that, your shirt brand is on sale as well.
There is another big push to put the tags in humans and pets. Already they tag pets fairly heavily. This way if a pet gets lost, and winds up in a shelter, they can scan the pet and return it to the pet owner. They are also tagging children this way for the same reason. The idea being if a child is lost or kidnapped, they can find them using GPS. They are also suggesting putting tags into prisoners to track them. There is a strong effort to tag all people with tags that have your medical information so if you are hurt in an accident and unable to respond, they have your medical history by scanning the chip. While not often talked about, they would love to put your banking information on the chip as well, so you could just go into a store, pick up what you want and walk out without stopping. The RFIDs in the products you picked up would id what they are, and the RFID in you would say which account to take the money from. Sounds an awful bit like the mark of the beast that Revelations talks about.
This is where Bush comes into the story. Tommy Thompson, Bush’s Health and Human Services Secretary during his first term, is on the board of Applied Digital, which owns VeriChip. VeriChip makes chips for human and pet use. He is pushing hard to get the chips implanted into people for medical reasons. Given Bush’s overly Orwellian Big Brother efforts, this doesn’t bode well. With the Patriot Act and some of the stuff coming out of that, Bush is setting things up that if he doesn’t do it, somebody down the line will soon demand we all get one of these chips implanted. Everything is being aligned, be ready. Orwell wasn’t close to how scary things will get.
