Lost S2E12 - Fire + Water
Jan 25th, 2006 by Brian A. Thomas
I am still watching the episode, our last until 8 February… so just a week off.
Finished it. A few notes will will follow in a bit. I actually thought it was kind of a week episode. We didn’t really learn anything new about Charlie in the flashbacks, at least nothing worth while it seemed. While there were a few cool things, nothing really stuck out. Of course a weak episode of Lost is better then most TV so…Charlie says just about everyone has seen Walt wondering around the jungle. Does this mean that more of our current survivors then Sayid has seen Walt?
Libby noted that the washer and dryer are newer then everything else. Perhaps a nod to all of us who noticed that they seemed out of place, or perhaps pointing it out to those who didn’t notice and perhaps an explanation is coming forth.
What is Eko talking about in regards to baptism? When John baptized Jesus, it didn’t wash Jesus of His sins, as He never sinned. Nor is there anything in the Bible to suggest that is what John thought. John after all is the one who pointed to Jesus and said “Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world,” or something to that effect. John didn’t think he was worthy to baptize Jesus.
Why is Locke saving the statues?
No word yet if Libby knows Hurley or not from the hospital. She did seem to be flirting with him though. Perhaps she was from the hospital, perhaps she knows he is rich and she’s just getting in for the money. I would hope not, as it would be nice to give Hurley something to be happy about.
