Battlestar Galactica S2E11 – Resurection Ship Part 1
Spell check to follow at another time, I had to uninstall and reinstall Firefox, so until I do a full restart the spell check won’t work.
Wow.
Another great episode. They spent the first 10 minutes plus of actual showtime resolving the cliffhanger from the last episode. During the down time, if you could call it that, things are put into motion to help rachet up the tenshion again, especially the last few minutes of the show where it leaves you hanging for the next episode. Spoilers to follow…
The name of the episode is named after the ship the Cylons are protecting while they follow the Galactica. It seems they are too far from the Cylon home world to have their consiousness downloaded to another body when they die, so the resurection ship is where their consiousness downloads to, so that it may be re-inserted into a new body.
The execution is off for now. I would guess they will be okay in the end. I am not sure about the Pegasus 6 yet. She wants to die, I don’t know if she’ll let Gaius save her.
Interesting to hear that Cain had let lots of civilians die in the name of the war. Not only let them die, but directly killed some of them to make some people join up with her. She needs to go down.
As to the dual assonation attempts… I have to guess Adma knows she’ll try to kill him, so he is probably prepaired. I don’t know if she is expecting it or not. It would seem she isn’t expecting it, so if Kara does do it, or Lee does, they probably will get away with it. However, perhaps the whole mission won’t work as planned and the Pegasus could very well not survive itself, which is my personal guess here.
Meanwhile, I added the count for this episode to my last BSG post, and be sure to check the comments out for more details on the survivor count.
Edit to add: I didn’t watch the trailer for the next episode. So no spoilers about that please.
