There is a fansite for the band DriveSHAFT, the band Charlie was in before he disappeared with many others on Oceanic Airlines flight 815 from Sydney to L.A. on 22 September 2004. From what I have gathered, Charlie wasn’t the only famous person on the flight. There was Boone Carlyle, heir to the Carlyle wedding business, along with his step-sister. One of the nations best spinal surgeons Jack Shepherd. Sun-Soo Kwon, daughter to South Korean industrialist Mr. Paik, along with her husband and personal aid to Mr. Paik, Jin-Soo Kwon. Multi-millionaire Hugo Reyes, who won one of the nations largest lotteries. Apparently some criminal was being transported back by some federal marshal, I don’t have her real name. There was a one John Locke who was a middle manager at a box company, oddly owned by Hugo, which has the conspiracy people going nuts. There were many others on the flight, all missing and by this point presumed dead. Odd how a plane can vanish in the thin air like that. No sign of wreckage or anything…
Okay, the above is a bit of building up for Lost. While I knew they made a website for Oceanic, I wasn’t sure if there was a website for DriveSHAFT. Nice to see there is one. Odd there isn’t one for the wedding company. The box company would be a bit of an obscure one, and Locke probably wouldn’t be important enough to the company to post anything on their website about him, especially the way his boss treated him. I haven’t looked yet to see if the band site is owned by an actual fan of the show, or the show’s creators/producers.
